Accountability At The Top: Republican Lawmaker Pushes For THIS High-Profile Impeachment...(Video)

Republicans continue to try to clean house as they launch one investigation after another and hold people accountable for their actions.

The latest event making headlines is the push for an impeachment hearing, but its not for Biden.

Representative Cory Mills is a veteran of both Afghanistan and Iraq. He wants to impeach Lloyd Austin, the Defense Secretary. His reasoning is because of the push for a woke military and the horrifying withdrawal from Afghanistan. Mills recently spoke with Fox News Digital about the impeachment.

According to Fox, he said, Not only do we have a 25,000-plus recruitment shortage, but there were 8,400 people who were unconstitutionally purged from the military youve got pronouns and DEI [diversity, equity, and inclusion] being taught at our military academies when we need to be focusing on what the next threat is and how we mitigate it.

During a statement, Mills referenced testimony that was heard earlier this month. According to Florida Politics, He also alluded to testimony earlier this month by Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews, a Marine, maimed when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive at the Hamid Karzai International Airport. Vargas-Andrews said troops on the ground had identified suspicious individuals and reported that to superiors but were told not to engage.

Although they had the bomber in their sights, they were not permitted to do anything. The bomb went on to kill thirteen servicemen from the United States and over 100 Afghan civilians.

Mills claims that not only did Austin botch the withdrawal from Afghanistan by leaving Americans essentially trapped in the war-torn country, but hes also refused to accept responsibility for his mistakes.

Quite a few members are backing up Mills on the impeachment for dereliction of duty, and he intends to proceed with it.
