Music Teacher Forced To Choose Between Faith And Job With This INSANE Court Ruling

A court recently ruled that forcing a teacher out of his job because of religious preferences is fine because trans rights apparently trump religious rights.

At least, thats the way it works for Brownsburg High School in Indiana.

John Kluge refused to use the preferred pronouns of students. Now, he can either use the pronouns or find a new job. Previously, Kluge called students by their last names. This was a reasonable compromise because he did not have to use the preferred pronouns or names, but he did not offend students by using the pronouns they did not prefer. The students did not like it and began to complain.

The Post Millennial says, In 2018, the school changed their tune and said that Kluge must speak the pronouns the students demanded or he would be fired, Reuters reports. The court ruled that the government has the right to violate a persons religious liberty and force their speech.

Kluge refused to follow the new rules and left his job. Then, the lawsuit began in 2019, with Kluge saying that the school discriminated against him based on his religion. The Alliance Defending Freedom took on the case in which Kluge wanted his position back and damages. The ADF argued that the school initially accommodated Kluge based on his religion, then withdrew the accommodation.

However, the court did not see it that way. They claim that his calling students their preferred names and pronouns would not cause any undue hardship for Klue. According to The Post Millennial, The court said that using students last names stigmatized the transgender students and caused them demonstrable harm. Judge Ilana Rover did not believe that Kluge faced harm by being forced to violate his religious beliefs to retain his job.
