Best-selling author Vivek Ramaswamy is a Republican hopeful making his way along the campaign trail.
Now, hes recruited a veteran from Trumps campaign to help him in New Hampshire. He's set to tour the state again soon and is hoping for a big win in the upcoming primaries.
The Washington Examiner says, State Rep. Fred Doucette, a Republican who co-chaired both Trumps 2016 and 2020 campaign operations in the Granite State, will now co-chair and serve as a strategist for Ramaswamy in New Hampshire, marking a significant pickup for the Republican hopeful.
According to a statement from Ramaswamy, Fred is a person that shows leadership and gets things done. Ramaswamy is confident that Fred will help with a win in the state. New Hampshire primaries are set to be the first primary election for the GOP following Iowa, leading to heavy campaigning throughout the state as early as possible.
The first-time candidate has also heavily campaigned throughout Iowa, but hes set to return to New Hampshire again in a week. This time, a bus tour will take him through ten counties to reach as many voters as possible.
Vivek already has support from some of the Republican Party. Fox News says, Doucette, the current deputy majority leader in the Republican-controlled state House of Representatives, was on hand as Ramaswamy held a town-hall style event in Manchester, New Hampshire, in late February. He has met with Ramaswamy several times since, noting, Ive been talking with Vivek for several weeks now, and hes an inspirational candidate who can energize Republicans and unite the country.
Doucette went on to say that Vivek has an America First message. Thats interesting. That has been Trumps message for three campaigns now. Not only does Vivek have his previous co-chair, but he also has Trumps message.
