FBI Bombshell: Outgoing Director Wray WARNS Of Chinas TICKING Time Bomb In U.S.Why Did He Wait Until Now?

In a recent interview on 60 Minutes, the outgoing FBI Director, Christopher Wray, unveiled disturbing information about the Chinese government's infiltration of vital U.S. infrastructure, following years of leadership that fell short of addressing the issue.

According to the Gateway Pundit, Wray revealed that the Chinese government has not only pilfered an unprecedented volume of personal and corporate data but has also planted malware in crucial systems such as water treatment facilities, transportation networks, energy grids, gas pipelines, and telecommunications.

Wray confessed, "Chinas cyber program is by far and away the worlds largest. They have stolen more of Americans personal and corporate data than that of every nation combined." He further warned of a less recognized but equally menacing aspect of the Chinese cyber threat, stating, "They are lying in wait on those networks, ready to inflict real-world harm at a time and place of their choosing.

When probed by interviewer Scott Pelley, Wray confirmed that China's cyber intrusions are not merely theoreticalthey have already inserted malware into critical systems. He listed water treatment plants, transportation systems, energy sector, electric grid, natural gas pipelines, and telecommunications as some of the targeted areas.

However, these revelations raise a more urgent question: Why now? Why did Wray choose to disclose what he describes as one of the most pressing threats to national security just a week before his enforced retirement?

Wray's tenure as FBI Director has been marked by a focus on politically charged investigations that targeted Americans exercising their constitutional rights. The FBI, under his leadership, pursued parents expressing concerns at school board meetings, labeled pro-life advocates as potential domestic terrorists, and initiated a comprehensive crackdown on January 6 protesters, including many who did not engage in violent activity.

Moreover, Wray notoriously declared "white supremacy" as the greatest threat to the United States, while a burgeoning cyber threat from China was allowed to grow unchecked. This is the same FBI that, under Wray's leadership, became entangled in scandals involving FISA abuses, politically motivated investigations, and suppression of key evidence in cases like the Hunter Biden laptop story.

The timing of Wray's revelations about China's cyber threats, coupled with his track record of focusing on politically charged investigations, raises questions about the priorities of the FBI under his leadership. It also underscores the need for a more balanced approach to national security that addresses both domestic and foreign threats.
