Tom Homan Speaks Out On Death Threats, His BOLD Plans, And Transparency!

Tom Homan, the incoming border czar appointed by President-elect Donald Trump, is set to introduce weekly press briefings.

These briefings aim to keep the American public informed about the arrests of illegal immigrants within the United States. This initiative aligns with Trump and Homan's commitment to intensify efforts against illegal immigration and bolster border security.

According to The Post Millennial, Homan shared his plans during a conversation with Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA. The discussion, which was part of a podcast episode recorded at TPUSA's 2024 America Fest in Phoenix, centered on how to effectively communicate the administration's stance on immigration amidst potential media backlash.

Homan expressed his views on the controversy surrounding immigration enforcement, stating, "Immigration enforcement has always been controversial. It's always been emotional. I get it. But we're a nation of laws, and we're going to enforce those laws. If you come to this country illegally, that is a crime. I'm sick and tired of hearing illegal aliens commit less crimes than American citizens. Every illegal alien is a criminal."

He also revealed that he has received numerous death threats since his appointment by Trump, which led him to attend the event without his family. Despite the hostility, Homan emphasized the need to control the narrative surrounding immigration enforcement. He suggested to Trump that they should "do a weekly press briefing. Let's show the American people who we arrested, why we arrested them. Let's show where we arrested them. What kind of bad guys we arrested in that sanctuary city."

Homan and Trump have pledged to prioritize the deportation of illegal immigrants involved in gangs or violent crime. Homan has previously stated that The priorities will focus on public safety threats, national security threats and fugitives, referring to those who got due process at great taxpayer expense and the federal judge ordered them removed, but they didnt leave, and they became a fugitive.

The Trump administration's approach to border security marks a stark contrast to the policies of the Biden-Harris administration, which reversed many of Trump's border security measures. This has led to a surge in illegal immigration over the past four years. One of the significant threats arising from these lax border security policies is the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, now operating in several US states.
