Three Floors Of Fury: Chicago High School Turns Into Battleground In Massive Brawl'

A colossal altercation involving over 100 students across three levels of a Chicago high school resulted in at least four police officers sustaining injuries last Friday.

The Chicago Police Department (CPD) confirmed the arrest of five individuals, though further details remain undisclosed.

According to the Daily Caller, Corey Johnson, a parent of a 15-year-old student at the school, revealed that the conflict initially started among girls before rapidly escalating into a widespread brawl. "It's always something that happens here," Johnson shared. "[My son] said it was a girl fight, at first, and then it just hit so big that everybody started fighting."

The police confirmed that some students incurred minor injuries, and no weapons were involved in the incident. Amid the chaos, the school was reportedly placed on lockdown, as recounted by another parent, Julnita McCoy. Her daughter was among the students caught up in the turmoil.

"My daughter had called me and told me it was a huge fight at her school, and they had the building on lockdown, and she could not get dismissed until I come and pick her up," McCoy said. "She say, 'I have to go to the bathroom and wash my face, because my face has mace all in it.' She was walking to her classroom. How did a student even come in the building with some mace anyway?"

Johnson further expressed his concern about the frequency of fights at the school, stating, "At this school, every time you turn around it's fights all the time at this school."

The CPD has yet to respond to the Daily Caller's request for comment. The incident raises questions about the school's safety measures and the adequacy of its response to such situations. It also underscores the need for a comprehensive approach to address the recurring issue of violence in schools.
