Joe Rogan Weighs In On Drone Sightings And Does NOT Hold Back!

In a recent development, Joe Rogan, the renowned podcast host, expressed his growing concern over the enigmatic drones that have been hovering over the tristate area.

His apprehension was triggered by an unconfirmed theory suggesting that these unmanned devices might be detecting harmful substances. The theory was proposed in a video by John Ferguson, the CEO of a remote aircraft system company based in Kansas.

According to The New York Post, Ferguson speculated in a TikTok video that the drones might be attempting to detect a gas leak, radioactive material, or some other substance on the ground. He stated, "The only reason why you would ever fly an unmanned aircraft at night is if youre looking for something." He further clarified that he didn't perceive these drones as malevolent, but rather believed they were trying to detect something on the ground.

Ferguson's theory, which he admitted was based on his expertise and personal opinion, has sparked interest online. He confessed, "Ive not bounced this off anybody," and added, "So if you think its bullst, whatever, thats cool. I dont want to spread misinformation, as we know that theres a lot of that going around." Despite the lack of confirmation, his theory has resonated with many, including Rogan, who stated, "This is the first video about these drones that has got me genuinely concerned."

Rogan's concern comes in the wake of the US government's dismissal of the drone sightings as a public safety issue. White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby had previously stated that many of the reported sightings were actually manned aircraft, a claim Rogan found suspicious.

Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, also downplayed the drone sightings. He suggested that some of the sightings were due to relaxed regulations that permit drones to fly at night. He stated, "Some of those drone sightings are, in fact, drones. Some are manned aircraft that are commonly mistaken for drones. And we do see duplicative reporting."

Mayorkas further assured that the department has deployed personnel and technology to monitor the situation. He promised, "if there is any reason for concern, if we identify any foreign involvement or criminal activity, we will communicate with the American people accordingly." He added that they were currently unaware of any such issues but would take appropriate action if necessary.

The drone sightings have drawn attention from politicians across party lines. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called on federal authorities to deploy radar technology to identify the drones. Schumer, along with Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Senator-elect Andy Kim (D-NJ), demanded an explanation from the FBI, Homeland Security, and the Federal Aviation Administration about their efforts to "identify and address the source of these incursions."

As the drone mystery continues to unfold, the public awaits further information and reassurances from authorities. The theories and concerns surrounding these sightings underscore the need for transparency and effective communication in matters of public safety.
