In a recent undercover operation, Project Veritas has revealed some startling admissions from Brent Efron, an advisor to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Efron was caught on tape acknowledging the existence of an "insurance policy" against President Trump.
As reported by Gateway Pundit, Efron's candid conversation with a Project Veritas journalist revealed that the EPA has been rushing to distribute funds before the potential arrival of a Trump administration. President Trump has nominated Lee Zeldin to head the EPA, a move that has evidently stirred anxiety within the agency.
Efron was quoted saying, It was an insurance policy against Trump winning, and further elaborated on the urgency to Get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in its like were on the Titanic and were throwing gold bars off the edge.
The EPA advisor also discussed his role in distributing over $100 billion in grants to nonprofits under Bidens Inflation Reduction Act, colloquially referred to as Bidens climate law. The EPA's website outlines these grants as part of their mission to promote "environmental and climate justice."
Interestingly, Efron admitted that the EPA is hastily disbursing funds for projects initially intended for a Kamala Harris presidency. He stated, The thing that we havent funded yet are [sic] the local nonprofit program that was going to be an inter-Kamala Harris administration program so now were getting it [funding] out as quick as possible. Its like two billion at this point, weve got most of it out like 90%.
Efron further confessed that the agency's staff are so dedicated that they plan to work until the last minute on inauguration day, striving to ensure every possible taxpayer dollar is allocated before a Republican administration can halt the flow of funds.
Its until the Trump people come in and tell us we can no longer give out money. Thats at the very earliest the 20th [January 2025]. But its probably a little bit after because they have to get in the building and tell people what to do, Efron said.
Efron anticipates that the Trump administration will promptly issue an order to block all grants, with Congress potentially attempting to retrieve the EPAs funding. In response to this, he disclosed that the EPA has been channeling money to nonprofits that align with their climate change policies at the local level, viewing it as an "insurance policy" against the forthcoming Trump presidency.
