NY Senator Floats This RIDICULOUS Idea In Order To Dodge Trump 2.0 Policies

In a bold move, New York State Senator Liz Krueger, who presides over the influential Senate Finance Committee, has proposed radical measures to counteract the potential return of Donald Trump to the presidency.

These measures include withholding federal taxes and even considering joining Canada to evade Trump's proposed mass deportation plans.

According to Gateway Pundit, Krueger acknowledges that her ideas are extreme, but she argues that they are justified in response to Trump's severe plans, such as the mass deportation of undocumented immigrants and threats to penalize states that resist these measures. "Its not unreasonable to think outside of the box, Krueger stated, emphasizing the need for innovative thinking among Albany lawmakers in the face of such challenges.

With only a few weeks left to fortify their state against a potential Trump 2.0, New York Democrats are under pressure. Previous attempts to convene a special session in December to pass protective measures for undocumented individuals and LGBTQ+ New Yorkers have been unsuccessful. Despite this, Krueger has conceded that Trump's threat to withhold federal funds from states that refuse to cooperate with mass deportations could have serious implications.

New York's annual budget stands at $239 billion, with an additional $85 billion received from Washington. If this federal funding were to be cut off, it could have a catastrophic impact on the local economy. As president, Trump would also have the power to veto significant infrastructure projects, such as the Gateway Program, which aims to connect Newark Penn Station to New York Penn Station. "Were talking a lot of money, Krueger warned. Were talking money we couldnt possibly replace unless we started sending the feds a lot less money.

The concept of states seceding from the U.S. has gained popularity in recent years, with campaigns in Texas and California gaining unprecedented momentum. In 2022, the Texas Republican Party's platform included a call for a referendum on secession, reflecting a growing conservative support for the idea. Meanwhile, in California, the Yes California movement is encouraging Californians to support secession to prevent the state's far-left liberal agenda from being imposed on the rest of the country.
