In the final hours of this year's extended presidential campaign, Donald Trump, the 78-year-old former President, rallied his supporters in Pittsburgh and Grand Rapids, while his opponent, Kamala Harris, concluded her three-month campaign in Philadelphia.
Trump, accompanied by his family, used the opportunity to not only outline his policy proposals for a potential second term but also to highlight the accomplishments of his first term.
According to The Post Millennial, Trump urged his supporters to exercise their democratic right, stating, "With your vote tomorrow, we can fix every single problem our country faces and lead America, and indeed the world, to new heights of glory." He further elaborated on his vision for America's role in the world, clarifying, "Well help the world a lot of people think were isolationists, were not but we want the world to appreciate what were doing. They have to appreciate that were helping them."
Trump presented his agenda with conviction, promising to "end inflation," curb the invasion of criminals coming across our border, and strengthen the military, particularly in the wake of the Harris-Biden administrations controversial withdrawal of military assets from Afghanistan. He didn't mince words when criticizing his opponent, Vice President Harris, accusing her of orchestrating "the most egregious betrayal that any leader in American history has ever inflicted upon the people." He further alleged that Harris had "eradicated our sovereign borders [and] unleashed an army of gangs and criminal migrants from prisons and jails."
Trump pledged to take immediate action if re-elected, committing to "end the migrant invasion" and restore order. He promised to initiate "the largest deportation program in US history" on his first day back in office. "The day I take office, the migrant invasion ends, and the restoration of our country begins," he declared.
On the campaign's final day, Trump received several significant endorsements, including those from conservative commentator Megyn Kelly, popular podcaster Joe Rogan, and the son of baseball legend Roberto Clemente. Kelly, who made a surprise appearance at the rally, emphasized immigration as her "number one" issue, stating, "He will be a protector of women and its why Im voting for him." She encouraged Pennsylvanians to "vote Trump and get ten friends to vote Trump too," underscoring the critical role of swing states in the election.
