In a surprising move, former President Donald Trump recently took on the role of a fast-food worker at a McDonald's outlet in Pennsylvania.
This unexpected visit was seemingly a response to his claims that Vice President Kamala Harris had never worked at the fast-food giant.
According to The Post Millennial, Trump was warmly welcomed by the staff, who provided him with an apron for his brief stint. When asked about his preferred item on the menu, Trump responded, I like all, I like every ounce of it. But I do like the French fries, where Ill be working. He then proceeded to operate the fryer and serve customers at the drive-thru window alongside Jojo, a ten-year veteran of the franchise. Trump even paid for some customers' meals, jokingly asking, This ones on Trump. Am I allowed to do that?
In a pointed remark aimed at his political adversary, Trump stated, "Now I have worked here. I've worked here for 15 minutes more than Kamala. She's never worked here... Why would she lie? She shouldn't lie about it. McDonald's confirmed that she's never worked here. But let's not talk about that. It's an amazing business and an amazing country."
Before his visit, Trump had posted on Truth Social, asserting that his campaign had verified with McDonalds that Harris had never been employed there. He wrote, We have checked with McDonalds, and they say, definitively, that there is no record of Lyin Kamala Harris ever having worked there. In other words, she never worked there, and has lied about this job for years."
Trump also criticized the Biden-Harris administration for their alleged detrimental impact on franchises. He claimed, "Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are killing franchises, want to end all franchises, which will destroy values and jobs. Also, remember, from me, No Tax On Tips! This statement reflects his conservative perspective, emphasizing the importance of individual freedom and free-market economics.
