Word Salads And 'Misspeaks' Galore: Walz And Harris Stumble Once Again In Fox Interview

The Democratic Party is gradually coming to terms with the fact that they can no longer keep Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz under wraps.

They are now being pushed into the limelight, albeit with a preference for less challenging interviews. However, a recent interview with Fox's Shannon Bream proved to be a tough outing for Walz.

During the interview, Walz found himself cornered on various issues by Bream, resorting to falsehoods to extricate himself. When confronted about his previous issues with honesty, Walz was caught in another lie. Bream's relentless questioning exposed the far-left leanings of both Walz and Harris.

According to RedState, it is highly unlikely that they would face such rigorous fact-checking on other media platforms that they choose to engage with. The Democrats were hesitant to put Harris on Fox, leading to Walz being the one to face the harsh reality.

Even when appearing on liberal media platforms, Harris did not perform well. This was evident in the early clips from her "60 Minutes" interview. Bill Whitaker, the interviewer, questioned her about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's resistance to the administration's pressure for a ceasefire and his decision to enter Lebanon despite their urging.

Harris responded by emphasizing the administration's pressure on Israel. She stated, "The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region."

She further elaborated on the diplomatic work they are doing with Israel's leadership, emphasizing the need for humanitarian aid, an end to the war, and a deal that would release hostages and establish a ceasefire. She affirmed their commitment to maintaining pressure on Israel and Arab leaders in the region.

However, this approach seems to place an unusual burden on the victims of the conflict to provide humanitarian aid to their attackers. The framing of the question and the response suggests that Israel is somehow at fault for continuing to combat terrorists intent on their destruction. This stance from the Biden-Harris administration is perplexing.

When Whitaker pressed Harris on Netanyahu's apparent disregard for their pressure, she responded with a convoluted statement that left many baffled. Her inability to handle even friendly interviews raises concerns about how she would fare in more challenging situations, such as dealing with astute foreign leaders.

Whitaker also questioned Harris about the nature of the relationship with Prime Minister Netanyahu. However, the real question should be why the Biden-Harris administration is hindering Israel's efforts to neutralize terrorists who have also claimed American lives. Harris sidestepped the question, refusing to explicitly acknowledge Netanyahu as an ally.

Instead, she stated, "I think the better question is do we have an important alliance between the American people and Israeli people. The answer to that question is yes." She failed to affirm Israel as an ally, seemingly in an attempt to appease the left.

This strategy appears to be backfiring, as she is losing support from both Muslim and Jewish communities. Her performance in the interview left many viewers incredulous.

The "60 Minutes" team also invited former President Donald Trump for an interview, but he declined, demanding an apology for a previous interview with Lesley Stahl in 2020. Stahl had dismissed discussions about Hunter Biden's laptop until it was "verified," implying it was Russian disinformation, which could have influenced the election outcome. Trump is still awaiting that apology.
