Former NASCAR luminary, Danica Patrick, has recently been in the limelight for her fervent endorsement of Donald Trump's potential 2024 presidential run.
Her support for Trump has been unapologetic and direct, with a clear message for those who oppose the former President: "You can leave if you want!"
Currently, Patrick is known for her insightful analysis in the world of Formula One. However, her outspoken nature extends beyond the racetrack, as she has never been one to shy away from expressing her political and social views.
According to Newsweek, Patrick's engagement with the 2024 election campaign is not limited to mere vocal support. She was a significant figure in Trump's "Reclaim America Tour" in Las Vegas, where she moderated a panel that included former U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard and ex-presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Despite their varied political leanings, both panelists expressed support for Trump, suggesting a burgeoning coalition around his campaign. Patrick was forthright in her alignment with Trump's re-election efforts, referring to Charlie Kirk during the event as a "great American."
Patrick's political involvement is not a recent development. Her past interviews with conservative commentators like Charlie Kirk and Tucker Carlson have consistently affirmed her political leanings. On social media, she has self-identified as part of an "Avengers-style team" of Trump supporters. She recently shared, "The most interesting point made the other night was that Donald was not able to create his transition team when elected in 2016 until Nov 5 because that's when the budget was made available... This time he is starting 3 months early. With a lot more experience than last time. Let's go."
Apart from her political pursuits, Patrick is a trailblazer in motorsports. She broke barriers by becoming the only woman to clinch a victory in an IndyCar race at the 2008 Indy Japan 300, cementing her position in a field traditionally dominated by men.
Patrick's political endorsements extend beyond Trump. She recently expressed support for the contentious figure, Andrew Tate. Despite Tate facing serious allegations, including charges of rape and human trafficking, Patrick shared a video of him on social media, expressing admiration for his candidness. "Andrew Tate is a very divisive personality... and I tend to really like people like this. I think it's because I love people who say what they want, regardless of the outcome. And I think he's right a lot," Patrick wrote.
Patrick's support for Tate aligns with her broader political stance, which she elaborated on at a Trump rally in Las Vegas: "People didn't like that. People looked at me like I was some radical right-wing MAGA. MAGA has got this awful connotation to so many people and you know what? All it did was light a fire... Instead of quieting down, I am gonna get louder!" This statement encapsulates Patrick's unyielding commitment to her conservative beliefs, and her readiness to amplify her voice in support of them.
