A producer and writer for MSNBC has reportedly admitted that the network is making concerted efforts to support the election of Kamala Harris, reinforcing the widely held belief that mainstream media often acts as an extension of the Democratic Party.
This revelation comes from Basel Hamdan, a staff member of the "Ayman" show on MSNBC.
According to WND, Hamdan's remarks were recorded by the O'Keefe Media Group (OMG), a platform led by investigative journalist James O'Keefe. An undercover journalist from OMG asked Hamdan about the network's role in aiding the Harris campaign.
In the secretly filmed conversation, Hamdan disclosed that the network's daily message aligns with Harris's, stating, "what her [Harris's] message of the day is, is their message of the day." He further confessed that MSNBC is doing "all they can to help" Harris secure victory, effectively functioning as an arm of her campaign.
Hamdan's comments underscored the blurred lines between the network and the Democratic Party, stating, "MSNBC is indistinguishable from the party." He also shed light on the symbiotic relationship between MSNBC hosts and Democratic politicians, revealing, "The anchor and the politician are just in total agreement about everything." He added, "If you watch an interview with a Democratic politician, they just finish each other's sentences."
In a surprising twist, Hamdan did not hold back in criticizing the network's audience, asserting, "They've made their viewers dumber over the years." He further explained that MSNBC has become "too cozy with Democratic politicians."
This revelation raises questions about the impartiality of the media and its role in shaping public opinion. It also underscores the need for a more balanced approach to news reporting, one that respects the diversity of political views and promotes informed decision-making among viewers.
