Ex-GOP Hopefuls Plan To Call The Hitmen On Rival Ends In Court, Not Congress!

In a shocking turn of events, a former Republican congressional candidate, William Braddock, has been indicted on charges of threatening to assassinate his political adversary.

The allegations date back to 2021, when Braddock was reportedly heard threatening to deploy his "Russian-Ukrainian hit squad" against his competitor, Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.).

As reported by One America News, the prosecutors have presented evidence of an audio recording where Braddock can be heard referring to Luna as a "dead squirrel" and "a fing speed bump in the road." The recording, which was made by a conservative activist, captures Braddock's ominous threats against Luna.

In the audio, Braddock is heard saying, I really dont want to have to end anybodys life for the good of the people of the United States of America. That will break my heart. But if it needs to be done, it needs to be done. Luna is a fing speed bump in the road. Shes a dead squirrel you run over every day when you leave the neighborhood.

Despite the damning evidence, Braddock has vehemently denied making any threats, suggesting that the audio may have been manipulated. However, a judge found the evidence compelling enough to issue a restraining order against him.

Following these events, Braddock left the United States and relocated to the Philippines, only to be extradited later. The Justice Department confirmed that he was charged with one count of interstate transmission of a true threat to injure another person. Braddock made his first appearance in a federal court in Los Angeles last Thursday.

Meanwhile, Luna, who emerged victorious in the election, was inaugurated into Congress in January 2023. Earlier this month, she revealed that her office had received a "very serious shooting threat." However, she refrained from divulging further details, citing an ongoing investigation by law enforcement.

The case serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers faced by public figures, even within the confines of their own political party. It underscores the need for stringent measures to ensure the safety and security of those serving in public office.
