Television personality Dr. Phil McGraw is set to participate in an event with Robert F Kennedy Jr., organized by the Trump campaign, to deliberate on matters of public health.

The event, part of the "Make America Healthy Again Tour," is scheduled to take place today in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

According to Newsweek, the Trump campaign has characterized the event as "a focused and effective discussion" on public health, a policy area that Kennedy has prioritized in his campaign and was a significant factor in his decision to endorse former President Donald Trump. Dr. Phil's representative was contacted for a comment on the event and his association with the Trump campaign, but there has been no response so far.

Dr. Phil, a well-known media figure, has previously stated that he did not plan to endorse any candidate in the election, and has remained silent about his voting intentions. It remains unclear whether he will make further appearances as part of the tour. Earlier this year, in August, Dr. Phil conducted a one-on-one interview with Trump, making today's event his second collaboration with the Trump campaign. He has not participated in any events with the Harris campaign.

During his previous interaction with Trump, Dr. Phil questioned the former president if he believed he was "spared for a reason" after surviving an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. The discussion also touched upon Trump's approach to health care during his tenure, as well as the health of President Joe Biden, who had recently announced his decision to withdraw from the race.

Trump, in his conversation with Dr. Phil, expressed his determination to rejuvenate the nation, stating, "The country is very sick right now, very sick. We're going to turn it around. We're going to make America great again, and we're going to do it rather rapidly."

Kennedy, a former Democrat, has amplified his involvement in the Trump campaign following his endorsement in August, frequently participating in joint events with former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard. Kennedy has previously emphasized the American health care system as "the most important issue," particularly focusing on chronic diseases.

In August, while still running as an independent candidate, Kennedy expressed his concern about the American health care system, stating, "We spend more on health care than any country on Earth, twice what they pay in Europe, and yet we have the worst health outcomes of any nation in the world."
