Chaya Raichik runs the highly influential and often-cited Libs of Tiktok Twitter account.
Now, she says that she never wanted to go public with who she was before the doxxing of Taylor Lorenz.
The Daily Caller reports that Raichik feels that she had no other choice but to go public after Washington Post reporter Lorenz wrote an article in April 2022 identifying her as the owner of the Libs of TikTok account. For those who dont know, the Libs of TikTok account primarily reshares videos of public drag shows that children attend. They also frequently share videos of teachers discussing sexuality and gender orientation with children. Those are things that many people online want to hear more about as they are often disturbed by the fact that this type of information is so readily peddled to their children and other minors without their consent or knowledge.
Had it not been for Lorenzs article identifying her, Raichik says she would have gladly remained anonymous behind the account. She also reports that the fact that Lorenz reported on this opened her up to various attacks from the political Left. She feels that there has been unfair slamming of her character and suggestions that she believes in things she does not believe in.
Raichik spoke with the Daily Caller, saying, I never planned for this. I never wanted this. I would definitely be anonymous.
Raichik revealed herself to the public for the first time in December 2022 during an appearance on Tucker Carlsons show. She talked about how she had received numerous threats and harassment since it was revealed that she is the creator behind the Libs of TikTok account.
She told the Daily Caller: It sort of like got to the point where you know Ill be very vulnerable for a second my name was out there, and And I was like, you know, what else are they going to do to me? So I was waiting for them to show up at my house again, to stalk me, to follow me.
Despite all of the threats she continues to receive daily, Raichik says it is worth protecting children from what she views as a dangerous gender ideology pushed by the Left.
She said: I get a lot of death threats and the hate messages. I think its always going to be there, and Im just a little bit more wary now and when I go out in public I just sort of keep an eye on my surroundings. I set up a sophisticated alarm system on my home. Im hopefully going to get a gun. So you know, I have to take the steps, but, I mean, I think what Im doing is so important. And so at the end of the day, I think its worth it.
