Bombshell Report Set To EXPOSE Secret Service's Shocking Lapses In Trump Assassination Attempt

In a recent revelation, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) has warned that the American public will be left "shocked" and "appalled" by an impending congressional report.

This report, still in its interim stages, is set to shed light on the security lapses that culminated in the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July.

According to The Post Millennial, Blumenthal expressed his concerns on Fox News, stating, "I think the American people are going to be shocked, astonished, and appalled by what we will report to them about the failures by the Secret Service in this assassination attempt on the former president." He further criticized the Department of Homeland Security for their lack of transparency, adding, "But I think they also ought to be appalled and astonished by the failure of the Department of Homeland Security to be more forthcoming, to be as candid and frank, as it should be to them in terms of providing information."

The details of the findings, gleaned from a confidential meeting between lawmakers and acting US Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe, remain undisclosed. Rowe had been summoned to provide an update on the ongoing investigation into the failed assassination attempt.

Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI) shared with the media that the interim report is due for imminent release. He said, "It will be coming out shortly. And it'll only be an interim report because there's a lot more information that we need to find. And we hope once this report comes out and we can get the additional information necessary to have a complete report of what happened, as well as steps of what we need to do in the future to make sure that this never happens."

The bipartisan nature of the report was underscored by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), who emphasized Rowe's commitment to providing more information. Johnson stated, "So he's making the commitment to, you know, provide more information. But we're hoping to get this preliminary report out before this work period. So again, we're on pretty tight time constraints. But again, it's important people realize we are dedicated to a bipartisan product."

The Secret Service finds itself under intense scrutiny following the security and communication failures that led to the July 13 attempted assassination of Trump during a campaign rally. The forthcoming report is expected to provide a comprehensive understanding of the incident, and the steps needed to prevent such a lapse in the future.
