Kamala Harris FINALLY Announces Policy Plans - Hold On To Your Seats!

Vice President Kamala Harris has recently unveiled her policy plans on her official campaign website, just in time for her inaugural debate with Donald Trump and a little over a month since her nomination as the Democratic candidate.

Harris' policy proposals have been characterized by a reiteration of price controls and an endorsement of the border bill, which could potentially permit a minimum of 1.4 million undocumented immigrants into the country annually. Her policy also includes support for gun restrictions, a commitment to promote "environmental justice," and a pledge to "end the suffering in Gaza," among other positions typically associated with the left.

As reported by The Post Millennial, Harris' website details her support for a "federal ban on corporate price gouging on food and groceries." This proposal has been criticized by economists as an echo of socialist-style price controls. Grocery businesses typically function on extremely narrow profit margins, ranging from 1-3 percent, adjusting prices in response to supply and demand in a highly competitive market.

Critics argue that such a policy could lead to shortages, reminiscent of the outcomes of similar policies in countries like the Soviet Union and Venezuela. A CNN contributor last month stated, "Weve seen this kind of thing tried in lots of other countries before. Venezuela, Argentina, the Soviet Union." Other mainstream media outlets have also criticized Harris for this proposal.

Harris has also reiterated her support for the border bill that Senate Democrats attempted to pass through Congress earlier this year. This bill, if enacted, would allow a minimum of 1.4 million undocumented immigrants into the country annually. Harris has previously expressed her support for this bill, which would expedite the processing of undocumented immigrants into the US rather than deter their entry.

The proposed legislation includes provisions that would permit almost any undocumented immigrant entry into the country, provided they follow certain steps, similar to the executive action taken by the Biden-Harris administration in April. The CBP One app, which would be permitted under the bill as a form of identification, allows entry into the US without any documentation of identity.

Harris' stance on firearms, as outlined on her website, proposes a ban on "assault weapons and high-capacity magazines" for ordinary Americans. She has previously endorsed a "mandatory buyback program" for certain types of firearms, implying a potential confiscation from American citizens.

Harris' policy also asserts that she and Joe Biden are "working to end the war in Gaza, such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom, and self-determination." Following the October 7 massacre, when Hamas' last stronghold was in Rafah, Harris indicated that she wouldn't dismiss potential "consequences" for Israel if the Israeli Defense Forces entered Rafah to eliminate the remaining Hamas forces and rescue the hostages. Six hostages, including an American, were discovered executed by Hamas in tunnels beneath Gaza.

Harris' policy plan also suggests that taxpayers will subsidize first-time home buyers up to $25,000 for down-payments, promises to "end the unreasonable burden of student loan debt," and highlights her record as the tie-breaking vote on the Inflation Reduction Act. However, many view this act as a green energy boondoggle rather than a genuine effort to curb inflation.
