The term "hypocrisy" has become synonymous with Vice President Kamala Harris, particularly since her nomination as the Democratic presidential candidate.
Her political stance has been likened to a goldfish out of water, flipping and flopping on a multitude of issues, from taxation to economic policies.
This inconsistency is glaringly evident in the ongoing border crisis. According to RedState, Harris has been releasing assertive campaign advertisements, promising to be a formidable leader in curbing illegal immigration. This is despite the fact that the Biden-Harris administration has seen an unprecedented surge in illegal immigration, seemingly extending an open invitation to illegal aliens.
Even the left-leaning network CNN and its anchor Erin Burnett, known for their unwavering support for the Democratic party and their readiness to criticize Republicans, could not ignore this inconsistency. On Wednesday, Burnett highlighted Harris's audacious use of images of former President Donald Trump's border wall in her campaign advertisements. This is despite Harris's previous fierce criticism of the same walls, which she had vehemently attacked Trump for.
CNN's Wednesday segment discussed how Vice President Kamala Harris is now utilizing images of Trump's border wall in her campaign, despite having condemned it for years as "useless" and un-American. During the segment, Erin Burnett, host of "Erin Burnett OutFront," spoke with CNNs KFile senior editor Andrew Kaczynski about how Harris's past statements on Trump's border wall are now coming back to "haunt" her.
Kaczynski discovered 50 instances where Harris had criticized Trump's border wall. However, her campaign is now prominently featuring the border wall in its advertisements. This surprising revelation from CNN, a network usually supportive of the Democrats, has raised eyebrows.
Harris's past comments on the border wall during her unsuccessful 2019 campaign have also resurfaced. In one instance, she referred to the border wall as a "vanity project," arguing that "by definition," illegal immigration is "not an emergency."
Burnett, in disbelief, questioned Harris's latest campaign strategy, asking, "Shes using his wall that he built to say, Look at what I did?"
Harris's daily actions continue to paint a picture of a leader devoid of principles, willing to say anything and then reverse her stance if it appears to boost her chances. When even a Democrat-leaning journalist like Erin Burnett is calling you out, it's a clear indication that things are not going well. The Vice President's political maneuvering, particularly her flip-flopping on the border wall issue, has not only raised questions about her credibility but also about the broader Democratic approach to immigration policy.
