Are Bidens Campaign Days Are Numbered? Karl Rove Thinks So!

Karl Rove, a Fox News contributor, has suggested that Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign is keen to keep President Joe Biden out of the limelight.

During a Tuesday morning segment, Rove posited that it's "highly unlikely" that Biden will be a prominent figure on the campaign trail in the coming months.

As reported by Mediaite, Rove's comments came in response to a question from anchor Dana Perino about Harris's "balancing act." Perino referenced a Politico headline, saying, "'Harris Puts Her Biden Balancing Act on Display in Pennsylvania. Kamala Harris doesn't want Joe Biden's baggage. But she's also counting on him to help her win the election.' How do you manage that?"

Rove responded, "Well, look, I think this was- I think the article was a little bit off. If I were the Harris campaign, I'd say we got to get him out there, so that he- his feelings are not hurt. He can help us maybe in Pennsylvania because that's where he grew up. But let's get it done and get it out of the way so that we can say we've done it."

Rove further speculated that the Harris campaign wanted to "get it done on Labor Day, give the President a chance to be on the campaign trail. I think it is highly unlikely that we're going to see much of him, if any, future appearances on the campaign trail."

Biden, who has been notably unpopular with approval ratings underwater by double digits according to polling aggregator 538, joined Harris at a Pittsburgh rally on Labor Day. This appearance followed an extended vacation after his speech at the Democratic National Convention. Biden's reelection bid was cut short by Democratic Party leaders after a disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump in June, leading him to endorse Harris as his successor.
