Sean Diddy Combs In HOT Water: Why A Miami Hotel Is Now In The Crosshairs Of Federal Investigators

In a recent development, renowned singer Sean Diddy Combs finds himself under the scrutiny of federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York.

The prosecutors are reportedly seeking a criminal indictment against Combs and have issued a fresh grand jury subpoena to a Miami hotel. The subpoena, which also names Combs' former girlfriend Daphne Joy, demands the hotel to furnish reservation records involving Combs, Joy, and other business associates.

As reported by The Post Millennial, the subpoena spans reservations from 2008 to the present. It seeks comprehensive details such as check-in and check-out dates, room numbers, guest preferences, special requests, and billing information. The prosecutors have further requested associated email and mailing addresses, phone numbers, and payment methods.

Earlier this year, Combs' residences in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by agents from the Department of Homeland Security. This was part of an investigation into allegations of sex and drug trafficking. A federal grand jury is known to have convened, with potential witnesses being informed that they may be summoned to testify in New York.

Combs has been embroiled in multiple civil lawsuits, including accusations of sex trafficking and sexual assault. His ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura notably filed a lawsuit against him for assault, which was later settled out of court.

Despite these lawsuits, Combs' attorney has vehemently denied the allegations. Earlier this summer, he stated, "No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won't change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judiciary process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court."
