Hollywood In Shock: Controversial Billboards Expose Dark Truth Behind 'City Of Dreams' Film

The recently released film, "City of Dreams," has taken an unconventional approach to advertising, erecting billboards in the bustling heart of Hollywood and Los Angeles.

These billboards, bearing the chilling message, "12 million children are trapped in modern slavery," have not only turned heads but also brought traffic to a standstill. This audacious move coincides with the film's debut in selected theaters across the United States.

According to The Post Millennial, "City of Dreams" narrates the heart-wrenching tale of Jess, a young Mexican boy with aspirations of becoming a soccer star. His dreams are brutally crushed when he is trafficked across the border and forced into labor in a downtown Los Angeles sweatshop producing fast fashion. Jess is thrust into a cruel world of exploitation, under the iron fist of El Jefe, a boss who dangles the promise of freedom to those who meet their quotas. Amidst the harsh reality, Jess finds solace in Elena, a fellow victim of trafficking. However, when Elena vanishes and another worker, Carlitos, is brutally assaulted, Jess realizes that their only hope lies in resistance, even if it means risking his life.

The film's executive producer, Tony Robbins, a renowned life and business coach, and director Mohit Ramchandani, made an appearance on "Jesse Watters Primetime" last Wednesday. They expressed their hope that the film would serve as a "call to action" and "wake people up."

Robbins shared with Watters, "On the previous film, Sound of Freedom we had the same situation. You know, on July 4th weekend last year, we beat out Disney with all their money because people were so moved by the film. And my wife and I have been involved in this for eight years. It's not a side-hustle for us that we do. We've freed a little more than 50,000 children."

Robbins further revealed, "We funded the freedom of them, and we've actually gone out on those. I've gone undercover with scars on my face the ugliest things you could ever imagine in your life happening to our children, but also the beauty is when they're freed."

However, the film's release has not been without controversy. Kevin Posobiec took to X to question the discrepancy between the full seating chart for "City of Dreams" and the mostly empty theater, asking, "Why are seating charts for City of Dreams showing full but nobody's here? If @AMCTheatres employees know of suppression orders, why would they risk admitting it. Let me show you. Who is behind these tactics?"

The film boasts an impressive roster of executive producers, including Tony Robbins, Luis Fonsi, Vivek Ramaswamy, Mira Sorvino, Enrique Santos (President of iHeart), Yalitza Aparicio (ROMA), Luis Mandoki (When a Man Loves a Woman, Message in a Bottle, Angel Eyes), Michael Phillips (Taxi Driver, Close Encounters, The Sting), and John Devaney. The film is produced by Sean Wolfington (Sound of Freedom), Jon Graham, Rufus Parker, and Matthew Diezel, and released by Roadside Attractions.
