Kamala Harris Trying To Dodge The Hot Seat: Trumps Team Demands CNN Ask THESE Tough Questions!

Written by Published

As Vice President Kamala Harris gears up for her first interview with CNN since being named the Democratic presidential candidate, the campaign of her Republican counterpart, Donald Trump, has put forth a series of pointed questions for CNN's Dana Bash to pose.

The questions, which are centered around Harris's current tenure in the White House, challenge her on a variety of issues that she has pledged to address.

According to The Post Millennial, one of the questions proposed by the Trump campaign is, "If you are capable of lowering prices for Americans, why havent you done it in the 3 1/2 years you have been in office?" Another question challenges her commitment to housing affordability, asking, "You say housing affordability would be a Day One priority if you were elected. Why is it not a priority now?"

The Trump campaign also seeks to probe Harris's stance on progressive policies, asking, You co-sponsored Medicare-for-All and the Green New Deal. Do you still support these multi-trillion-dollar takeovers of the American economy?" The campaign further questions her on the issue of immigration, asking, "You talk a lot about 'freedom.' What about the freedoms of Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, and Jocelyn Nungaray? These women were killed by illegal immigrants who were let into the country under your watch."

Additional questions put forth by the Trump campaign include: "Why did you support executive actions like stopping construction of the border wall and halting deportations that intentionally unsecured the border," "Under your watch, wars are popping up in Europe and the Middle East. Why is that," "Why did you conceal Joe Biden's cognitive decline from the American people," "Why do you want fewer police officers," "Youve called for getting rid of cash bail and your campaign hasnt backed away from it. Why do you still support such a radical view," and "You have sent anonymous aides out to claim you've abandoned the radically liberal positions that you've held for decades. Do you think lying to the American people is the best strategy?"

The Trump campaign suggests that the timing of Harris's interview, scheduled for the Thursday before Labor Day weekend, is a strategic move to ensure low viewership. It's no coincidence that Kamala's first interview is scheduled for the Thursday night before Labor Day weekend. They already hope it gets lost and it hasn't even aired yet. Kamala is clearly scared to do an interview on her own and it's pre-taped so they can clean it up, the campaign stated. This assertion underscores the ongoing political tension and the high stakes of the upcoming presidential election.
