VERY Hard Feelings: Joe And Jill Feeling SIDELINED After DNC Debacle

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) last week was the stage for a dramatic display of internal discord within the Democratic party, culminating in President Joe Biden's late-night speech.

The address, a vehement critique of former Republican President Donald Trump, was riddled with repeated hoaxes about the ex-president. Following the speech, Biden seemed visibly shaken, struggling to disembark from Air Force One upon landing in California.

According to The Post Millennial, the speech was not just a farewell to the Democratic faithful, but it also symbolized a potentially irreparable rift between Biden and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Biden had previously claimed in a national interview that Pelosi had forced him out of the Democratic presidential race. The convention's Monday night speech was fraught with issues. Scheduled for 10:30 p.m., Biden didn't begin until well past 11, and by the time he concluded after midnight, much of the television audience had dissipated. The Post Millennial reported that Pelosi had allegedly threatened to publicly disclose her lack of confidence in Biden's ability to run, forcing the evening's events to be condensed.

A letter, purportedly penned and signed by Biden, surfaced the next day, announcing his withdrawal from the race. This directive from Pelosi reportedly incensed both Joe and Jill Biden, a resentment that could reverberate for the rest of their lives. However, the Biden-Pelosi feud was not the only internal Democratic conflict on display at the DNC, as reported by The Post Millennial.

On the following night, while former President Barack Obama made a show of expressing admiration for Biden, former First Lady Michelle Obama conspicuously omitted any mention of Biden in her speech. The Post Millennial suggests this was a deliberate snub. Michelle Obama had never campaigned for Biden and reportedly had no intention of speaking at the DNC if he remained the party candidate. Biden's enthusiastic endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris was allegedly driven by his desire to prevent Michelle Obama from seizing the opportunity to become the Democratic candidate.

The Post Millennial also reported that Barack Obama was content to see Harris vie for the Democratic presidential nomination. He was reportedly eager for Biden to withdraw from the race and allegedly collaborated with influential Democratic supporters to make this a reality.

Amidst the turmoil, Pelosi was seen relishing the spectacle from the front row, particularly during Michelle Obama's speech. When asked about his feelings towards Pelosi, Biden remained noncommittal, stating to The Post Millennial, "No, I haven't spoken to her." The Post Millennial also suggests that the relationship between Pelosi and Harris is strained. Biden's robust endorsement of Harris was reportedly also motivated by Pelosi's desire for Harris to be the candidate.
