In a recent social media exchange, Walter Masterson, a Democrat TikTok influencer with a following of 2.4 million, attempted to ridicule conservative John McEntee, the founder of the dating website The Right Stuff.

Masterson, who identifies as a comedian, fell short of humor in his response to a post by McEntee, which criticized the Biden-Harris administration's handling of the escalating crime rates across the country.

According to Gateway Pundit, McEntee's original post stated, We used to have stop and frisk for criminals in this country. But liberals whined. He continued, So now, we only have it for soccer moms at the airport. Masterson's retort to this, however, seemed to reveal more about his own racial biases than anything else.

In a misguided attempt at wit, Masterson, while consuming a Harris-Walz cookie, responded, So, you like when police stop and frisk Black people, but youre angry when white women have to go through a metal detector. Got it. This response not only wrongfully equated the term 'criminals' with 'Black people' but also insinuated that only white women are sufficiently involved with their children to be classified as 'soccer moms'.

Masterson's flawed logic was swiftly dismantled by fellow influencer LJ Truth in a subsequent TikTok post. LJ Truth retorted, I think he said criminals. We used to have stop and frisk for CRIMINALS in this country. He further clarified, He definitely didnt say Black people. He said criminals. And you cant just switch out the term criminals for Black people because those two terms arent synonymous. Right?

LJ Truth continued, And if someone were to switch out the term criminals and instinctively use Black people or switch out soccer moms for White women, that would be kinda weird. That would be engaging in racial stereotypes. He concluded, Some would even say thats just being racist.
