Mike Lindell: The Trump Supporter Who Claims To Have Democrats Sleeping Soundly

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump, has defended his product's appeal to Democrats, stating that "everybody needs a good sleep.

".

This statement was made in response to a question posed by Beth Baisch of The Post Millennial at the Democratic National Convention.

According to The Post Millennial, Lindell, who was largely apolitical before 2016, said, You know what? Because theyll get a good sleep and they need sleep too, like we all do. They're all people." He further explained his previous political disengagement, saying, "prior to 2016 I didn't know anything about politics. I had never voted in my life. All I had was MyPillow and helping people."

Lindell also highlighted his company's broad appeal, noting that he had run more advertisements on MSNBC and CNN than Fox. He said, "Everybody bought MyPillow, and they still do. I can go to any city in the world: they come up to me, Hey, I want your picture. You know, we sold 83 million MyPillows."

However, Lindell's support for Trump, particularly his endorsement of the former President's claims of election fraud, has not been without controversy. Twitter "permanently banned" Lindell for election misinformation, and Dominion Voting Systems threatened him with a lawsuit over his stance on the 2020 presidential election.

Despite these challenges, Lindell continues to focus on his business and philanthropic efforts. In December 2021, he donated 10,000 pillows to victims of a Kentucky tornado. Lindell, who founded MyPillow in 2004 in Chaska, Minnesota, remains a figure of interest in the intersection of business and politics, embodying the spirit of individual freedom and free-market economics that are central to conservative values.
