WATCH: Black Voters Accuse Dems Of Selling Out To Illegal Immigrants

In a recent segment, African American patrons at a Chicago barbershop voiced their concerns over the Democratic party's stance on illegal immigration, arguing that it's detrimental to American citizens.

As reported by the Daily Caller, the conversation took place during a Wednesday segment on "Fox & Friends," where the voters expressed their dissatisfaction with the current administration's handling of the border crisis. Vice President Kamala Harris has been tasked with resolving the issue, yet a late July Hard-Harris survey revealed that 69% of voters, including a majority of Democrats, believe she supports "open borders."

One of the voters, in the midst of a haircut, lamented, All the immigrants came in and the stuff they have for the Americans, theyre giving it to the immigrants thats coming in. He went on to contrast the current administration's approach with that of former President Donald Trump, saying, Trump was trying to keep them out, so to speak, as much as he could. But Biden just like let the gate open.

Interestingly, despite his criticism, the voter admitted he plans to vote for Harris, citing her gender as the reason.

Another voter highlighted the impact of illegal immigration on the African American community, particularly on black men who work manual jobs. He said, It hurts black people more than anything. Black men particularly like to work with their hands, they like to drive trucks. Those are jobs that an illegal can come in and underbid him with third world prices and put him out of work.

The voter also pointed out the struggles faced by the black community, stating, Blacks are struggling more than any other demographic. We got the highest prison rate, highest high school dropout rate. Highest murder rate. Whats in it for us?

The sentiment of dissatisfaction with the Democratic party was echoed by others at the barbershop, with some suggesting that African Americans should explore other voting options. One barber shared that he was raised to vote Democrat, but has not seen any improvement in the lives of Americans under their leadership.

In a separate conversation, female voters expressed their disapproval of Harris' personality and claimed their lives were better under Trump. One woman told former CNN host Don Lemon, Im going for Trump. I feel like every time they dont want somebody who is good for us to win, they throw somebody black in our face thinking thats going to make us vote for the black person. She added, Kamala was on Biden team and I dont like Biden. Gas wasnt this high when Trump was our president. Food wasnt this high.

These conversations underscore the growing discontent among some African American voters with the Democratic party's policies and their impact on their lives. It also highlights the need for a more nuanced understanding of the African American electorate, which is far from being a monolithic voting bloc.
