Tucker Carlson, co-founder of the Daily Caller, and Vince Coglianese, the editorial director, recently engaged in a discussion on the Democratic Party's intense focus on abortion.
The conversation took place in the backdrop of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago, where attendees had the chance to avail free vasectomies and medication abortions. These services were offered by Planned Parenthood's mobile health clinic, located just a few blocks from the United Center, where the convention was taking place.
According to the Daily Caller, the conversation between Carlson and Coglianese touched upon the declining birth rate in the United States. Coglianese expressed his concern over the DNC's promotion of free vasectomies and abortions, referring to it as a part of a "death cult." He compared the practice to the "death rituals" of "pagan tribal religions."
Coglianese stated, On my radio show, I refer to this as human sacrifice all the time because thats what it is. He further expressed his frustration over the prevalent terminology used to discuss abortion, which he believes is omnipresent in media and social platforms.
The Democratic Party often frames abortion as "reproductive healthcare," "reproductive freedoms," or "reproductive rights." This was evident when Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, launched a nationwide pro-abortion tour on January 22, named the "Fight for Reproductive Freedoms."
Coglianese expressed his concern over this narrative, stating, If you dont use the language, youre censored. So, its mind control, as you know. And so the obsession with death and advancing it as a social good is one of the most destructive things that any culture can do. He added, And were living through it. I mean, this abortion fetish is out of control.
The DNC's free vasectomy and abortion services were in high demand, with a waitlist forming even before Monday. A Google Form was made available for those seeking to reserve their spot for sterilization or medication abortion, but the slots were quickly filled.
