In a recent interview with Fox News, former U.
S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who has been selected to assist Donald Trump in preparing for his upcoming debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, highlighted the VP's "incredibly vulnerable record.".
Gabbard anticipates that this record will be thrust into the limelight during the September debate.
According to The Post Millennial, Gabbard praised Trump's debate prowess, asserting that he has demonstrated "time and time again" his ability to deliver a "strong performance on the debate stage." She further noted that Trump's approach to debates is unconventional, stating that he "doesnt really need help at all with debate prep, nor does he do debate prep like a typical politician would, because hes not a politician."
Gabbard emphasized Trump's successful track record on issues of concern to the American public. She suggested that her contribution to his debate preparation would be to share her personal experience of debating with Harris. Gabbard expressed her belief that Harris would attempt to "trick the American people as she has been over these last years to hide this radical record that she has."
Gabbard also predicted that Harris would attempt to distance herself from President Joe Biden, despite being "directly responsible through her job as Vice President and through her tie-breaking votes in the US Senate for the abysmal economy that weve seen, for the radical inflation that weve seen, for the border crisis and tens of millions of illegal immigrants coming across our border, and the fact that were closer to World War III and nuclear war now than we have before."
Fox News host Laura Ingraham suggested that Harris would likely avoid these issues and instead attempt to "bait" Trump with "personal attacks." Gabbard agreed, expressing no doubt about this possibility. She recalled Trumps debate performance against Biden, where he "stayed very focused on the issues that are most important to the American people" and drew stark contrasts between his record and those of Biden and Harris.
Gabbard concluded by suggesting that Harris would likely be fed lines by her pollsters to deliver on the stage. She reiterated her belief that Harris has "an incredibly vulnerable record because it's been disastrous for the American people." This assertion underscores the potential challenges Harris may face in the upcoming debate, and the importance of preparedness for both candidates.
