New Secret Service Strategy Includes UNPRECEDENTED Security Measures At Outdoor Trump Rallies

The United States Secret Service (USSS) has reportedly approved a new security protocol that will enable former President Trump to resume his outdoor events.

This decision comes after an assassination attempt on July 13 at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump was narrowly missed by a bullet.

According to The Post Millennial, a Secret Service official confirmed that bulletproof glass shields will be installed on stage to ensure Trump's safety. This measure was taken after the USSS advised Trump's team to hold rallies and events indoors following the Butler incident. Since then, Trump has not participated in any outdoor events.

The introduction of bulletproof glass is a significant security upgrade, typically reserved for sitting presidents and vice presidents when necessary. "Former presidents and candidates dont normally get bulletproof glass or support from DoD," the official stated. "This glass needs to be brought in on trucks and vans."

In anticipation of future events, the USSS has started storing this ballistic glass in various locations across the country for easy access during Trump's campaign events. This plan was finalized by Acting USSS head Ronald Rowe, who took over from the former USSS director Kimberly Cheatle. Cheatle had previously met with Trump's team to discuss the possibility of creating a new plan for outdoor events.

The Secret Service official also mentioned that other technical security assets, not typically provided for presidential candidates, will be deployed. However, the official did not elaborate on what these tools might be.

Trump's aides have indicated that the former President is keen on hosting more outdoor rallies, including a return to Butler. However, Trump has reportedly insisted that he will not appear on an outdoor stage without the protective glass. As this story continues to develop, further updates will be provided.
