Kamala Harris Accused Of 'Smoke And Mirrors' In Controversial Campaign AdSheriff Speaks Out!

A California sheriff has publicly criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for unauthorized use of his image in a campaign advertisement, and for her perceived lack of action in curbing illegal border crossings.

According to The Post Millennial, Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux expressed his disapproval of the Vice President's campaign for using his image without consent. In light of a recent political ad put out by Kamala Harris featuring Sheriff Boudreaux, as well as other local law enforcement, the Sheriff wants to make it abundantly clear that his image is being used without his permission, and he does NOT endorse Harris for President or any other political office, Boudreaux stated.

Boudreaux, who has dedicated 37 years to the Tulare County's Sheriff's Office and currently presides as the California State Sheriffs Association President, was taken aback to discover his likeness being exploited for campaign purposes. The advertisement incorporated footage from his tenure in the Central Valley. While the full context of Harris' visit during her time as California Attorney General remains hazy, Boudreaux distinctly recalls her demeanor.

Boudreaux took issue with the portrayal of Harris in the advertisement. "I would like to point out the misleading information projected in that same political ad," he said. "In the ad, Harris claims to have spent decades fighting violent crime as a border state prosecutor. The facts are that then California Attorney General Kamala came to the Valley in 2014 touting a years-long investigation into a multi-national drug operation, with ties to Mexican drug cartels and prison gangs."

The case in question led to the arrest of 11 individuals, including suspected "kingpin" Jose Magana of Dinuba. Harris, according to Boudreaux, was keen to make a public appearance. However, he argued that her concern for the cartels and illegal border crossings was superficial at best. "The truth is, Harris never cared about the cartels and did nothing to stop people from illegally crossing the border," Boudreaux said, describing her visit as smoke and mirrors.

Boudreaux further criticized Harris for her lack of personal interaction during her visit. "We were in the green room. She never came in and said hello to any of us. She walked up front, gave her presser, literally walked out, never said hi to any of us," he said. "I'm disgusted because, you know, she didn't shake hands. She didn't say hello. And she's taken credit for all this work that the locals did." This incident underscores the sheriff's discontent with Harris, questioning her sincerity and commitment to addressing border issues.
