SECRET Memo Exposes Harris & Walzs No Limits Abortion Plan

A leading pro-life organization, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA), has issued a stark warning to Republican candidates, leadership, and state leaders about the "extreme" abortion stance of the Democratic presidential ticket, featuring Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

The duo is known for their unwavering support for unrestricted abortion and their history of voting against legislation aimed at preserving life.

According to the Daily Caller, the SBA has circulated a memo detailing the pro-abortion records of Harris and Walz. The memo quotes SBA President Marjorie Dannenfelser as saying, "Harris & Walz support NO limits on abortion and want to impose this extreme position on all 50 stateseven painful late-term abortions in the 7th, 8th, and 9th month of pregnancy." Dannenfelser further criticizes Harris for her single-minded commitment to abortion, which she claims blinds her to the developmental stages of unborn children and the genuine needs of women.

The memo also highlights Harris's endorsement of the Women's Health Protection Act, a bill she co-sponsored as a senator in 2018, which seeks to federally legalize abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy. "It would wipe away nearly ALL limits on abortion, even limits allowed under the Roe v. Wade regime," the memo cautions. Harris has also previously voted against legislation that sought to limit abortion at 20 weeks.

Walz, during his tenure as Minnesota governor, overrode the state's 24-week abortion limit, thereby permitting abortion throughout all nine months, as reported by the SBA. The memo also recalls a 2023 CBS News Face the Nation interview where Harris declined to specify any restrictions on abortion she would support. Instead, she advocated for enshrining the protections of Roe v. Wade into law, arguing that women should be trusted to make decisions about their bodies and lives.

The memo further notes that Harris, during her tenure as California senator, voted twice against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would have mandated medical care for babies surviving abortion attempts. She also voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which aimed to prohibit abortions once the baby could feel pain, around the 20th week of pregnancy.

Walz, too, has signed legislation in Minnesota that repealed protections for babies born alive following abortion attempts and eliminated the requirement for reporting such incidents. The memo also highlights a disturbing 2017 incident where a woman claimed that a Minnesota Planned Parenthood told her that if a baby was born alive during an abortion, they would likely "break the baby's neck."

Harris's support for the California Reproductive Freedom, Accountability, Comprehensive Care, and Transparency Act (FACT Act) in 2015 is also mentioned in the memo. This law, which was later struck down by the Supreme Court for violating the First Amendment, compelled all clinics primarily serving pregnant women to offer abortion resources and inform women about the state's provision of free or low-cost abortions.

The memo also criticizes Walz for repealing a Minnesota law that protected women from being coerced into having abortions and for removing the requirement for patient consent before performing an abortion. Furthermore, Walz eliminated a program that had brought over $3 million to crisis pregnancy centers.

The SBA memo cites a 2023 study by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, which found that 70% of women seeking abortions were coerced, and 60% would have preferred to continue their pregnancy if they had received better support.

The memo also criticizes Harris and Walz for their support of taxpayer-funded abortions. Harris has advocated for the termination of a provision that prevents such funding through Medicare, while Walz has increased taxpayer funding for Medicare-sponsored abortions.

The SBA memo concludes by highlighting the duo's consistent celebration of abortion, with Harris becoming the first sitting vice president to campaign at an abortion clinic in March 2024, accompanied by Walz. The memo serves as a stark reminder of the extreme abortion stance of the Democratic presidential ticket, a position that the SBA and other pro-life advocates vehemently oppose.
