Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner has expressed her dissatisfaction with a recent event where former President Donald Trump was interviewed, stating that the session was unjust and accusing mainstream media of exploiting racial issues to further polarize the nation.

According to Conservative Daily News, the event in question was a panel discussion at the National Association of Black Journalists conference. The panel, which included Faulkner, ABC News reporter Rachel Scott, and Semafor reporter Kadia Goba, engaged in a heated exchange with Trump. The former President's comments on Vice President Kamala Harris and his criticism of left-wing Congress members and former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley were among the contentious topics. Faulkner highlighted that there were attempts to revoke Trump's invitation to the event and criticized Scott's question for derailing the panel.

Faulkner lamented the missed opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with the former President, who she said had walked into a racial storm. "There were journalists, activists, whatever you want to call people who let their politics show who wanted the NABJ to rescind their offer to have the 45th president of the United States come and sit," she said.

The Fox News host also criticized Scott for failing to acknowledge that Trump had survived an assassination attempt less than three weeks before the event. She argued that Scott's question had set an emotional tone for the discussion. "I mean, it did not take much to show humanity, and in that moment, I was so disappointed that that did not happen," Faulkner said.

Faulkner further accused the corporate media of focusing excessively on Trump's tense exchange with Scott and his comments about Harris. She warned that such unfair journalistic practices would only deepen the divisions within the United States.

"I cant impress upon you how much complicity there is, potential complicity, for mainstream media to lock in on the issue of race and to divide us as a nation further if we dont carefully call out when we dont see things being treated fairly," Faulkner said. "And you know what? I will take some heat from it, for it, rather, in certain circles of journalism. My home is Fox News; our viewers deserve the truth, and that moment was not fair.
