Shocking Apology And Psaki's Stunning Admission: The Real Story Behind Biden's Watch-Checking Incident Uncovered

Jen Psaki, the former White House Press Secretary, has issued an apology to the families of the 13 fallen soldiers who were killed during the ill-fated Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021, which occurred under President Joe Biden's administration.

Psaki's apology was in response to her defense of Biden's controversial act of checking his watch during a ceremony held in honor of the deceased soldiers.

According to the Daily Caller, Psaki had previously faced criticism for a statement she made in her book, "Say More," where she claimed that Biden only looked at his watch after the ceremony had ended.

This assertion, however, was contradicted by several fact-checks from September 2021, leading to a retraction of the claim in subsequent reprints of her book.

During an interview with the House Foreign Affairs, Psaki agreed to apologize to the Gold Star families whom she had contradicted in her book, as stated by Republican Florida Representative Mike Waltz.

Waltz shared on social media, "Just left the House Foreign Affairs interview with Jen Psaki. She agreed to apologize to the 13 Afghanistan Gold Star families whom she falsely contradicted in her book when she said Biden didnt look at his watch."

Waltz further emphasized that this was not a partisan issue, but rather a matter of doing the right thing as fellow Americans. He expressed his hope that Psaki would follow through on her commitment.

The Washington Examiner reported that during the interview, Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul questioned Psaki multiple times about her comments in "Say More.

" Leslie Shedd, the Foreign Affairs Committee majority spokeswoman, stated, "After pressing her multiple times if she had something she wanted to say to them, Ms. Psaki asked the chairman to pass along her apology to the families and to express her regret for the pain she caused them. He has done that."

This incident comes in the wake of President Biden's false claim during a debate with 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on June 27, where he stated that no troops had died under his watch.

This claim was met with calls from Gold Star families for Biden to acknowledge his errors and pay respect to the fallen soldiers.
