Teacher's Union Leader Goes OFF THE RAILS Just Days After Trump's Assassination Attempt

On Monday, the American Federation of Teachers convention was addressed by its leader, Randi Weingarten.

The convention, which was supposed to be a professional gathering, took a turn towards a heated political rally due to Weingarten's fiery speech.

According to Gateway Pundit, Weingarten's speech came in the wake of a failed assassination attempt on President Donald Trump on July 13, which resulted in the President's injury, the death of a rally attendee, and severe injuries to two others. Despite calls for a reduction in inflammatory rhetoric following the incident, Weingarten's speech was filled with fervor and vitriol.

"The November elections will determine which path we take as a nation. Progress is possible, but so is the eradication of the rights and freedoms we hold dear," Weingarten declared. She further warned, "It is seldom a dramatic event or attack that lets fascism in the door. The violence comes later after they are voted in."

As her speech intensified, she labeled Trump as an "existential threat to democracy and freedom!" This is the same kind of language that Democrats have been criticized for using excessively.

Weingarten continued her impassioned speech, exclaiming, "That we continued the march for progress! That we laid the foundation for a better future! And that we sought to create a more perfect union! Progress is possible! Keep marching!"

This is not the first time that professional educators have been seen engaging in such heated rhetoric. Becky Pringle, the President of the National Education Association (NEA), was reported by the Gateway Pundit to have delivered a similarly unhinged speech at the NEAs Annual Meeting and Representative Assembly (RA) in Philadelphia.

Pringle, in her speech, exclaimed, "Our students are depending on us to win all the things. All the things! All the things! All the things."
