Trump Reveals He Went AGAINST Secret Service Advice With THIS Move After Getting Shot...

In a recent revelation, former President Donald Trump disclosed that he had been shot during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump shared that despite the Secret Service's insistence on evacuating him from the stage on a stretcher, he had refused, asserting that the measure was unnecessary.

According to The Post Millennial, Trump was seated next to his running mate, JD Vance, as he narrated the incident to host Jesse Watters. The former president explained that his security detail initially suspected he had sustained a serious injury to his torso. "They wanted to put me on a stretcher," Trump stated, "and I said, I'm not going on a stretcher because I just felt it was the ear." He further elaborated that while an ear injury is preferable to many other locations, it can bleed profusely, leading to misconceptions about the severity of the injury.

Trump continued his account, gesturing towards his abdomen, "They thought I was hit actually in this area, and I wasn't. I said, I'm telling you, I'm okay, I'm fine. I'm going to get up. I want to get up. I'm not going to be taken out on a stretcher." His refusal to be evacuated on a stretcher sparked a minor disagreement, but the agents eventually acquiesced to his insistence. Trump commended the agents for their bravery, lauding them for rushing to his aid amidst the chaos.

Reflecting on the incident, Trump said, "I got down pretty quickly, I think. I also think people were starting to shout. It's one of the reasons I was to go down so fast, because it almost is amazing that move of checking here and going almost immediately down. Probably people were shouting at the same time. Who knows. It was Bedlam. And I was down, and I said, 'Let's get going. Come on, let's go,' and the shooting had stopped, so I assumed they probably got him. They did get him."
