Kamala Harris' FAMOUS Ex-Boyfriend Gives His 2024 Endorsement For President

In a surprising turn of events, Vice President Kamala Harris, who once had a brief romantic relationship with television personality Montel Williams, is now receiving his endorsement for her presidential campaign.

According to Newsweek, the political landscape was dramatically reshaped when President Joe Biden, succumbing to mounting pressure from his party, decided to step down from the presidential race. Biden's endorsement of Harris as his successor has led to a swift consolidation of support around the Vice President within the Democratic Party. Harris, who is now in the spotlight as the likely Democratic nominee, is being scrutinized for her positions on critical issues such as abortion, economic policy, and the Israel-Hamas conflict. Simultaneously, the public is gaining insight into her personal life.

Williams, known for his long-standing television career, offered his perspective on the 2024 presidential race following Biden's withdrawal. Initially, he had shown support for Maryland Governor Wes Moore, but later seemed to pivot towards Harris, albeit without explicitly naming her.

In a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Williams wrote, "I'd love to see @iamwesmoore leading the ticket or otherwise on my ballot and I'm ready to campaign. I've watched @GovWesMoore lead my home state of Maryland, and I know leadership when I see it."

Moore reciprocated the sentiment by endorsing Harris on Monday, lauding her "unique ability to energize the Democratic Party base and mobilize a unique coalition" for the upcoming November elections. "Kamala Harris will move us forward, toward a brighter future for all. She is the fighter we need at this moment to realize the full promise of our nation," Moore wrote.

Williams reposted Moore's endorsement and pointed out his action in a subsequent post, stating, "Reminding folks I RT'd this." He also took issue with a TMZ article that insinuated he was not backing Harris. "Guys, I hate to ruin your day, but you massively misinterpreted my tweet. I will vote for whomever can beat Trump," he clarified.

Williams has previously expressed frustration with the media's focus on his past relationship with Harris. He stated, "I've said what I'm going to say about the thing that keeps trending. My friends in the media should think twice about wasting time on a 20+ year old pictureyou will find doing so will earn an unpleasant reaction."

Jonathan Franks, Williams' publicist, echoed his sentiments, stating, "He expressed an opinion which he has expressed for years. This isn't news. It's just a cheap attempt to get clicks."

Back in August 2019, during Harris's run in the Democratic presidential primary, Williams acknowledged their past relationship, writing on X, "@KamalaHarris and I briefly dated about 20 years ago when we were both single. So what? I have great respect for Sen. Harris. I have to wonder if the same stories about her dating history would have been written if she were a male candidate?"

As the political landscape continues to evolve, the focus remains on Harris's potential to lead the Democratic Party towards a brighter future. The support she is garnering from prominent figures like Williams and Moore is indicative of the faith many have in her leadership abilities.
