Shockwaves In DC: Top DNC Donors Close Checkbooks With Ultimatum

In a recent revelation, Will Pierce, a Daily Caller columnist and former Biden supporter, has expressed his concerns about the Democratic National Committee's (DNC) potential election catastrophe.

Pierce, who was once a Democratic campaign fundraiser, shared his apprehensions on "Fox & Friends" last Friday. He pointed out that the party's prominent donors are refusing to open their checkbooks until a new candidate replaces President Biden for the 2024 election.

According to Fox News, Pierce expressed his alarm, stating, "I would be in a panic mode, because this is the thing you know, as we're going into Q3, this is make or break when it comes to fundraising for political fundraising." He further questioned the source of the party's funding, given the departure of these donors. "And now that you have these donors that are leaving, where's this money coming from? If you're Democratic staff or the Democratic committee overall, how are you going to fund not only the top of the race, but your down ticket races?" Pierce asked. He described the situation as disastrous and criticized the Democratic Party for their decision to continue with Biden.

Adding to the chorus of discontent is Hollywood showrunner Damon Lindelof, another Democratic megadonor. In a recent piece for Deadline, Lindelof urged his fellow Democrats to cease their financial support for a candidate he believes should withdraw from the race. "Ive been asleep at the wheel and its time to wake the f--- up," Lindelof wrote, expressing his dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs.

Ari Emaunel, a high-powered Hollywood agent and another party megadonor, shared his frustration following the last week's CNN Presidential Debate. Emanuel expressed his disappointment with the Founding Fathers for not providing an end date for a President's term, stating, "Well, I'm pissed off at the Founding Fathers. They had the start date of 35. They just didn't give us the end date."

A Variety story recently highlighted the growing disillusionment among major liberal donors with the former President. Hannah Linkenhoker, an adviser to several of these donors, told the outlet, "Its just really hard to see how we keep supporting him. He needs to dig deep about whether he can in good conscience be our nominee."
