Far-Left Activists Brand AOC A 'Sell-Out' Ahead Of Rally, Find Out Why...

The pro-Palestinian organization, Within Our Lifetime, has declared its intention to stage a protest at the campaign rally of Democratic New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, scheduled for this Saturday in the Bronx, as reported by the Daily Caller.

The group made the announcement via Twitter, where they also disseminated flyers for an event they've dubbed "Flood The Bronx For Gaza."

The flyers, which feature images of Ocasio-Cortez and her political allies, including Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and Democratic New York Representative Jamaal Bowman, criticize the self-proclaimed democratic socialist for her endorsement of Joe Biden for President. The group asserts that "endorsing Biden is endorsing genocide," and their Twitter caption reads, "THE BRONX STANDS WITH PALESTINE AGAINST SELL-OUT POLITICIANS WHO TRADE PALESTINIAN LIVES FOR VOTES."

New York Representative Ritchie Torres, another Democrat from Ocasio-Cortez's state, responded to the flyer on Twitter, stating, "Within Our Lifetime justifies and glorifies the bloodiest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. The notion of 'flooding the Bronx for Gaza' is meant as a twisted show of solidarity with Hamas, which describes the terror of October 7 as 'Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.'"

Despite the backlash, other pro-Palestinian groups have joined the criticism. The Palestine Solidarity Working Group tweeted, "When you endorse the genocider in chief, you should expect to be organized against."

This protest marks a significant shift in the relationship between Ocasio-Cortez and a group that was once among her staunchest supporters. The congresswoman, who has received backing from far-left action groups such as the Justice Democrats and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), now finds herself navigating a widening divide within her party's progressive wing. She is attempting to balance her condemnation of blatant antisemitism, particularly in the aftermath of Hamas' October 7 terror attacks at the Nova Music Festival in Israel, with her ongoing critique of influential Israeli groups like AIPAC.
