Wow! Biden Is Really Losing It With These Putin Comments...

Over the weekend, President Joe Biden made a claim that has raised eyebrows and sparked skepticism.

He stated that he has known Russian President Vladimir Putin for 40 years, a claim that seems to be at odds with Putin's career trajectory and public presence during that period.

According to Gateway Pundit, Biden's assertion is questionable given that Putin, now 71, was a KGB agent in 1984, with no public profile. At that time, Putin would have been 31 years old, the same age Biden claims they first met. However, the likelihood of their paths crossing at this point in history is slim.

The New York Post reported, "President Biden claimed Thursday that he has 'known' Vladimir Putin 'for over 40 years' despite Russias president having served as an undercover KGB intelligence officer through the entire 1980s." Biden, now 81, made this claim during an interview with ABC News anchor David Muir in France at the Normandy American Cemetery to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. He added, "Ive known him for over 40 years. Hes concerned me for 40 years. Hes not a decent man."

Putin's career in the Soviet Union's spy network spanned from 1975 to 1991, with postings in his hometown of St. Petersburg and the former East Germany. He retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel. Given this timeline, it seems highly unlikely that Biden would have been aware of Putin's existence as early as he claimed.

This recent claim by Biden is seen by some as another example of the President overstating his importance and intelligence. It's a pattern that has not gone unnoticed, even by media outlets typically sympathetic to his administration. This latest incident serves as a reminder that political narratives should always be scrutinized for accuracy and truthfulness.
