In a recent development, Miami Police have apprehended Carl Jordan, 38, on allegations of sexually assaulting a physically incapacitated individual.
The arrest report reveals that in April, Jordan, who is a manager to three NBA prospects, met with a group of women at a restaurant in Midtown Miami. The group reportedly indulged in food and alcohol at the restaurant before proceeding to Jordan's apartment for further drinks. Their night continued at a Miami Beach nightclub and the Booby Trap On The River strip club. Subsequently, three women from the group returned to Jordan's apartment.
According to Local 10 News, one of the women alleges that she woke up to find Jordan sexually assaulting her. The police report states that the victim informed detectives that she had consensual intercourse with one of the NBA prospects and fell asleep next to him before the alleged assault.
Upon discovering the incident, the woman reportedly confided in a friend who was also present at the apartment. The friend confronted Jordan about the alleged assault. In response, Jordan reportedly stated, "Well, she was naked and sleeping on my bed," as per the arrest report cited by Local 10 News. The victim was reportedly distraught following the incident.
As of Monday, Jordan remains in custody without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, as reported by Local News 10.
The identities of the women who accompanied Jordan and the NBA prospects have not been disclosed, and no additional information regarding the alleged victim's identity has been provided.
The case is still under investigation and further updates will follow as the story unfolds.
