In a recent analysis of the ongoing trial involving former President Donald Trump, Sunny Hostin, a legal analyst, shared her observations from the Manhattan courtroom.
Hostin, who was present in the courtroom, offered a vivid description of Trump's appearance, referring to his skin tone as "burnt sienna."
Hostin's comments came in response to a query from co-host Joy Behar about Trump's complexion. "I have never seen him in person. I didnt realize he was orange Its almost like a radioactive orange, and its very shocking to see in person because hes a tall person and hes also a little thinner now," Hostin remarked.
In her report, Hostin also noted Trump's unconventional behavior as a defendant, stating that he was "fist bumping" with lawyers and even took a brief nap.
The jury, according to Hostin, was one of the most "engaged" she has ever witnessed. She also pointed out the gender imbalance in the jury pool, with a higher number of women than men. "There are many more women on the jury than there are men, even including the alternates. I mean, I couldnt tell which ones were the alternates but there are 18 people and the majority of them are women," she said.
The trial has drawn significant media attention, with several high-profile figures attending the proceedings. Among them was MSNBCs Lawrence ODonnell, who reported receiving a hostile glare from Trump. The former president later criticized ODonnell on Truth Social, labeling him a "loser."
Stormy Daniels, an adult film actress, testified over two days during the week. Daniels alleges she had an affair with Trump, a claim he continues to deny. During her testimony, Daniels provided detailed accounts of her alleged encounters with Trump, prompting a warning about providing excessive unnecessary details. Two motions to dismiss from Trumps legal team were denied.
Trump is currently facing over 30 felony counts on charges of falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments to Daniels. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing. The trial continues to unfold in Manhattan.
