Prescribing hormone blockers and other medication to help minors transition is now illegal in several states.
Many quickly point out that no one knows the long-term effects of this medicine. Its best not to test it on children to see what happens. However, one person has decided they know whats best for kids.
Eli Erick is admitting to illegally giving prescription medications to minors who otherwise would not have them. According to Breitbart, Erick tweeted, I order 4 times more estrogen & testosterone blockers than I take. You should, too. Several states have banned trans medicine for minors, but we wont let a single young person go without medication. Well provide care ourselves if youth cant access formal medicine.
The person then shared a screenshot that points out that this is illegal in Mississippi. Erlick claims to be a proud criminal but doesnt seem to care. According to Erlick, they are giving trans youth life-saving medication. They encourage other trans individuals to do the same thing, even if its illegal.
Not only is Erlick encouraging people to break the law, but they also point out that there are no consequences for it. A tweet from Erlick states that theyve been reported to multiple law enforcement agencies, but no one cares.
Transgender women are men that dress as women, but Erlick claims that transgender women are the same as biological women. Per Breitbart, The only inherent difference between trans women and cis women is that a doctor assigned trans women male. Trans is an adjective that describes that assignment, Erlick has claimed.
It never seems to occur to people that things like transitioning hormones are illegal for children for a reason. Its not Erlicks place to make that call or to give other peoples children medication. Someone needs to step in and do something about this.
