A Tennessee police officer who made national headlines after having numerous sexual relationships with fellow officers in the La Vergne, TN, Police Department is breaking her silence.

Maegan Hall, 26, spoke with WTVF and said that she repeatedly tried to stop the sexual advances of the sergeant at the La Vergne Police Department, but she says that he wouldnt take no for an answer..

She had an affair on-the-job with Sgt. Lewis Powell, and this seemed to break open the floodgates to sexual relationships that she ultimately had with five other officers.

She told the local news station: I know what most people are saying, and You know, You couldve said no. I get it. But my response to them is, I did say no, and he wouldnt take it for an answer. She said that she eventually gave in to the pressure and had the relationships that she had.

This news comes on the heels of Hall pushing a lawsuit against the department and insisting that she was sexually groomed for the sexual gratification of the several officers with whom she had affairs.

She states that she was in the middle of a troubled marriage and blames this in part for being taken advantage of by an all-male police department outside of herself.

She told WTVF:

When I was interviewing for the position at La Vergne Police Department, they described the environment as a family.

However, while I was aspiring to protect my community, the La Vergne Police Department was not protecting me.

This story ended up costing Hall and four other officers in the department their jobs. Two other officers received suspension because of the scandal.

Hall said:

My supervisors worked together to take advantage of my vulnerabilities and [my] mental health, and And they used it for their gain and sexual favor.

Continuing with her interview, Hall stated:

Who do you even turn to when the chief of police is sexually harassing you? How could I get justice when the entire system, including the chief, [not only] condoned such behavior but participated in it?

She said that she received phone calls and threatening messages daily. She says that she felt terrorized by her co-workers and that they used anything they could against her to intimidate her and cause her to become involved in this scandal to the extent that she was.

Her lawsuit is still underway, and quite some exciting developments may emerge from this story.
