The House Foreign Affairs Committee passed a bill to protect political prisoners from having their organs harvested.
Newsmax reports this was put forth because the Chinese are believed to have done this against Muslim prisoners in their jails in 2017.
Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., authored the Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act of 2023 following testimony that he heard from some survivors of this kind of horrific treatment in China.
The Chinese Communist Party is also believed to have targeted the Falun Gong spiritual movement. They are believed to have harvested their organs for the black market, according to reporting by Breitbart.
Newsmax says that the bill will head to the House floor for debate and a possible vote on passage.
The bill would allow the Secretary of State to refuse to permit Americans accused of harvesting organs to get passports and would ban foreigners who have committed such crimes from being permitted to enter the country.
Smith's office says the bill would "block and prohibit all transactions in property and interests in property and makes that person inadmissible to the United States and ineligible to receive a visa."
Newsmax says that Uyghur surgeon Enver Tohti reports that the earliest reports of this organ harvesting process began as soon as 1990 and has been ongoing since then. He reports that he was forced to remove the heart and other vital organs from a prisoner shot in the head.
The belief is that the Uyghurs, the Falun Gong, Tibetans, and Christians are all being targeted by the CCP for this kind of treatment.
A report from the Australian National University confirmed that organ harvesting is a form of execution that the CCP uses. The report reads:
"The leader of China's transplant sector wrote in 2007 that effectively 95% of all organ transplants were from prisoners."
It then continues:
"If the reports we examine are accurate, they indicate that heart and lung procurement by the surgeon was the proximate cause of the prisoner's death, thus directly implicating the surgeon in the execution."
This is a truly horrific situation and should send some shivers down the spine of everyone who has an ounce of humanity about them. A host of horrific things have been done in the past, but this is one of the worst things imaginable. This is something that must be reported and must hit the mainstream.
