CPAC Highlights: El Salvador's President Warns America, Fight Globalism Or Face Societal Collapse

In a recent address at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2024, El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele issued a stark warning to Americans, drawing on his country's experiences with internal conflict and foreign interference.

Bukele's speech was a clarion call against globalism, urging a collective awakening to the threats it poses to freedoms and rights worldwide. "If you want globalism to die here too, you must be willing to unapologetically fight against everything and everyone that stands for it. Fight for your freedoms, fight for your rights," Bukele declared.

The Salvadoran leader further emphasized that the next U.S. president must possess not only the ability to win an election but also the vision, will, and courage to take decisive action. "And above all, he must be able to identify the underlying forces that will conspire against them. These dark forces are already taking over your country. You may not see it yet, but its already happening," he warned.

Bukele also took aim at non-governmental organizations and billionaire philanthropist George Soros, a frequent target of conservative criticism. He questioned the democratic legitimacy of these "unelected bureaucrats" in shaping public policy. "Who elected them? They dont have a democratic mandate," Bukele challenged. "If they want a seat at the table, they should run for office. Let the people vote."

The president proudly recounted El Salvador's resistance to foreign influence, asserting that "Soros and his cronies hit a brick wall in El Salvador." He added, "Salvadorans are now immune to his influence. No one believes his lies anymore over there. We just had free and fair election."

Bukele's recent reelection saw him secure approximately 85% of the votes, along with a majority of legislative seats. However, his decision to alter or bypass the country's constitution to remain in power and favor his political party has drawn criticism from global media outlets.

Bukele's warning to the U.S. was clear and foreboding: "As your friend, I want to issue this warning so you dont make the same mistakes we did. It is not easy to pull yourself back once youre in boiling water."

Drawing parallels between societal decline and disease, Bukele suggested that ignored symptoms could evolve into a fatal condition if left unchecked. He expressed grave concern over the perceived erosion of societal values, the rise in crime, and the surge in drug addiction in American cities.

Reflecting on El Salvador's harrowing experience with gang warfare and its societal impact, Bukele drew parallels with current trends in the United States, implying that America is on a similar path towards decay.

Bukele cited cities like Baltimore, Portland, and New York as examples of urban decline where crime and drug use have surged. He urged the audience to consider the number of young Americans lost to the streets and drugs, particularly fentanyl, and projected a bleak future if current trends persist.

"Big cities in decline, like Baltimore, Portland, New Yorkwhere crime and drugs have become the daily norm. And even accepted and promoted by the government," Bukele stated.

As the U.S. wrestles with its own issues of crime, drug epidemics, and political unrest, President Bukele's speech at CPAC 2024 serves as a cautionary tale from a leader who has faced the precipice of societal collapse and is now offering a narrative of recovery, suggesting that the U.S. should remain vigilant to avoid a similar fate.
