Biden Clings To Last Resort: Highlight 'Crazy Sh*t' Trump Says And Does

In a recent report by CNN's White House correspondent, M.J. Lee, it was revealed that President Joe Biden has instructed his campaign team to emphasize the controversial remarks made by former President Donald Trump.

This strategy is aimed at reminding voters of their experiences during Trump's tenure.

Lee discussed Biden's directive on CNN, a move that was noted by the RNC's Jake Schneider. Schneider pointed out that Lee had previously posed a provocative question to Biden, accusing Republicans of being responsible for the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. He stated, "CNNs MJ Lee just reported the Biden campaign is working to more aggressively 'highlight the crazy sh*t that Trump says in public.' Yesterday, she asked Biden if 'Alexei Navalnys blood is on the hands of House Republicans.' Totally objective and unbiased reporting!"

On Monday, Lee asked Biden, "Mr. President, would you go so far as to say that Alexei Navalnys blood is on the hands of House Republicans right now?" This question came after a period of media frenzy on February 8, when Biden defended himself against a special counsel report suggesting he was too feeble to stand trial.

Despite her previous hard-hitting question, Lee seems to have regained favor with the Biden campaign following her recent question that was critical of Republicans.

According to a CNN report on Biden's campaign directive, the President personally instructed his senior campaign aides to focus more on Trump's inflammatory comments. The aim of this directive was to intensify the campaign's efforts to underscore the controversial remarks made by Trump in public.

This previously undisclosed instruction from Biden indicates his belief in the importance of portraying his likely Republican opponent as erratic and unfit for office. His campaign has been preparing for Trump to be the GOP nominee for several weeks.

This strategy is largely driven by concerns among Biden's aides that many voters seem to have forgotten what they perceive as some of the most outrageous moments of the Trump presidency. As one senior campaign advisor recently stated, they have been surprised by the number of voters who seem to view the Trump years through "rose-colored glasses." The campaign believes it is crucial to change this perception by continually reminding voters of what Trump represents.

Ammar Moussa, the Biden campaign's director of rapid response, told CNN, "The President knows the stakes this November could not be higher for the American people. Donald Trump is the polar opposite of everything President Biden stands for and has accomplished since he took office, and the campaigns top priority over the next nine months will be laying out that stark choice for voters.

However, some might argue that the Biden campaign is engaging in its own brand of "crazy sh*t" by contrasting Biden's record with Trump's. Under Trump, the U.S. experienced low inflation, a growing economy, low gas prices, secure borders, ten million fewer illegal immigrants, no new wars, no invasions by Russia, peace in the Middle East, and a President who passed a cognitive exam.
