Brandon Gill, a candidate vying for the 26th Congressional District seat in Texas, has garnered a significant endorsement from the Club for Growth PAC.
The announcement was made on Monday, as Gill seeks to succeed Rep. Michael Burgess, a retiring Republican.
In a statement, Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh expressed his support for Gill, highlighting his commitment to free market economics and conservative principles. McIntosh stated, "Brandon Gill is a free market economic conservative who is committed to cutting federal spending, lowering taxes, and eliminating special interest tax credits. He is also a proud supporter of digital assets and term limits."
McIntosh further emphasized the PAC's dedication to ensuring Gill's victory, stating, "Gill will be a great member of Congress, and the Club for Growth is committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure he wins the race."
The Club for Growth PAC, known for endorsing and raising funds for candidates who uphold the principles of limited government and economic freedom, is the largest independent political action committee in the United States. Notably, candidates endorsed by the PAC in 2022 achieved a remarkable 75 percent success rate in their respective races.
Gill's campaign has received a series of notable endorsements, including those from Texas Senator Ted Cruz and 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. These endorsements, coupled with Gill's impressive fundraising efforts, have solidified his position as a formidable contender in the race.
Reflecting on his campaign, Gill expressed his determination to challenge the status quo in Washington. He stated, "The broken status quo in Washington must change. It's an honor to receive support from across our district who want to send an America First candidate to Washington." Gill outlined his key priorities, which include securing the southern border, curbing reckless spending, and combating what he perceives as an overreaching and politicized government. He concluded by emphasizing the urgency of the situation, stating, "We have a country to save."
With the backing of influential organizations and prominent figures within the conservative movement, Brandon Gill's campaign for the 26th Congressional District seat in Texas continues to gain momentum. As the race unfolds, Gill's commitment to conservative values and his promise to bring about meaningful change resonate with voters seeking a representative who will champion their interests in Washington.
