This week, court documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case are expected to be unsealed, potentially implicating former President Bill Clinton, who is known to have been a close associate of Epstein.
Clinton, who reportedly flew on Epstein's private jet, infamously known as the 'Lolita Express', over two dozen times, is alleged to have been in the company of underage girls during these flights, according to the aircraft's pilot logs.
Earlier in the month, it was revealed that several of Epstein's high-profile associates could be named in the court documents scheduled for release in the early days of 2024. Among those named is Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, who had previously demanded that all material related to him be made public. He was the only individual identified by name prior to ABC's report on Clinton.
However, Judge Loretta Preska has temporarily halted her order, allowing lawyers representing the unnamed individuals time to persuade the court to keep the names confidential. As a result, it remains uncertain whether the public will ever gain access to Epstein's complete client list.
ABC News reported, Hundreds of sealed court filings pertaining to the late sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein are set to be made public this week, and several prominent names including Britains Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton are expected to appear in the documents.
According to the news outlet, Clinton is referred to as "Doe 36" in "more than fifty redacted filings." The report further states, Former President Clinton, who ABC News has learned is identified as Doe 36, is mentioned in more than fifty of the redacted filings, according to court records."
A witness has claimed to have seen Clinton in the company of "2 young girls" on Epstein's Caribbean island, a notorious location in the Epstein scandal. However, a spokesperson for Clinton has refuted these allegations.
In July 2022, lawyers from the Gateway Pundit, Marc Randazza and Jay Wolman of the Randazza Legal Group, along with GP General Counsel John Burns, filed a motion to intervene in the Guiffre v. Maxwell case in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. As a media intervener, the Gateway Pundit requested the court to unseal all records identifying Epstein's clients.
Despite these efforts, the federal judge presiding over the case denied the Gateway Pundit's request to unseal the documents in August 2022. However, the Gateway Pundit appealed to the federal Second Circuit Court of Appeals, demanding public access to Epstein's client list.
On February 27, 2023, a "John Doe" interested party, whose identity had been sealed by the court due to their association with Epstein, filed a brief opposing the Gateway Pundit's appeal and requested the Court of Appeals to deny the brief.
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell in August 2019, reportedly hanging from his bunk bed with a prison bedsheet wrapped around his head. Epstein, who stood 6 feet tall, is said to have secured the bedsheet to the top bunk bed and wrapped it around his neck.
